Southern US: Support Dogwood Alliance!

We’re winning for Southern forests! Dogwood Alliance is known for
being direct so I’ll get straight to the point. We need your support.
How much? As much as you can spare to back up the only organization
challenging Big Paper on its home turf. Our goal is 500 donations of
any amount and everyone who makes a donation will be entered to win
one of these gorgeous pens, made from hand-turned recovered wood. To

But we haven’t
won yet and we need everyone to lean in with us as we use the leverage
we’ve built to move Big Paper to Increase post-consumer recycled
content across the board. (This eases the pressure on our forests,
uses far less energy and reduces the amount of carbon released into
the atmosphere) Stop the large-scale clear-cutting of native and
natural forests for conversion to sterile mono-culture pine
plantations. (Forests are too important to be wasted for disposable
paper and paper packaging.) Ensure that working forests are
responsibly managed and that paper and paper packaging are never
sourced from endangered forests in the South. We have proven that the
markets strategy holds the best hope for the protection of Southern
forests. We’ve built this leverage on a tight, well-managed budget
and we can keep this industry moving toward sustainability with your
